Rowing in the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park near Berlin
2 to 7 June 2024
This rowing trip from 2 June 2024 to 7 June 2024 (without arrival and departure days) will take us to the south-east of Berlin. During the trip, we will stay at the centrally located Hotel Waldhaus in Prieros and make star-shaped trips across canals and lakes in the surrounding area, probably rowing in B-gig boats with wooden sculls from the Königs Wusterhausen rowing club. We have the possibility to rent 3 double fours with cox.
Arrival by aeroplane:
Taxi to Hotel Waldhaus Prieros ( travel time approx. 35 minutes, 32 km)
Arrival by train:
Berlin Central Station to Königs Wusterhausen with the Regional-Express RE 7 (journey time approx. 35 minutes); continue by taxi to the Waldhotel Waldhaus Prieros (journey time approx. 25 minutes, 18 km)
Travelling by car:
Arrival directly at the Hotel Waldhaus Prieros (parking spaces are available)
On 3 June 2024 we will drive with our own cars to RV Königs Wusterhausen (journey time approx. 30 minutes, 20 km); cars can be parked there until Friday
Joint dinner at 6:30 pm

1st day Monday 3 June 2024: 8.30 a.m. Departure by private car to RV Königs Wusterhausen (journey time approx. 30 minutes); approx. 9.30 a.m. Pick up of boats at RV Königs Wusterhausen and journey to Prieros (20 km)

2nd day Tuesday 4 June 2024: Hotel Waldhaus Prieros via Märkisch Buchholz to Lake Köthener See natural bathing area and back (38 km)
- Lake Streganz, Dahme ("Brandenburg's Amazon")

- 2 boat tows Märkisch-Buchholz after 14 km
- Natural bathing beach (JH) after 19 km break: picnic on the beach)

5th day Friday 7 June 2024 (Ablegen der Boote um 8.00 Uhr!!): Rückfahrt (20 km) zum RV Königs Wusterhausen
