Rowing-Tour Brandenburg - Havelseen
22. Jun 2025, um 19:00

This rowing tour takes us to Brandenburg an der Havel, a picturesque town west of Berlin and 60 km from Potsdam. It is known for its Gothic brick buildings, including the 15th-century Old Town Hall and the Brandenburg Cathedral with its chapel, Baroque organ, and painted vaulted ceiling. The late medieval St. Paul's Monastery houses the State Archaeological Museum. The ruins of the medieval city fortifications have also been preserved.
We'll be staying at a hotel in Brandenburg (Havel) for the entire duration of the trip, just a 10-minute walk from the rowing club that will lend us the rowboats. The club is the starting and finishing point for our daily trips.
The day trips lead across numerous Havel lakes and canals in the surrounding area. We begin and end our journey by rowing along canals in the medieval town. Lunch breaks are made at locations that are also accessible from the shore service. Therefore, it's also possible to row or steer only half-day trips.
We are borrowing two double fours with coxswain/coxswain from the Ruder-Club-Havel Brandenburg, Hammerstraße 5, 14776 Brandenburg (Havel).
We will stay overnight at the Hotel Brandenburger Dom, Burghof 2, 14776 Brandenburg (Havel) for the entire duration of the rowing tour.
On the first evening we eat at 7 p.m. in the Remise restaurant in the hotel. Restaurant Remise im Hotel.
